The biggest football betting win of the season so far for the Cowboys came last week against the Falcons. The Cowboys handled the Falcons and put on a good show for their home crowd by scoring 37 points. In previous weeks the Cowboys have beaten the teams they should have beaten, but have loss to the teams that they’re battling with. In the first five weeks of the season Dallas beat the Buccaneers, Panthers and Kansas City and lost to the Giants and Broncos.

Just like other years the Cowboys have come out firing on the offensive side of the ball. The team is ranked 10th best in the league with 26.5 points per game and 2nd in the league for total offensive yards per game with an average of 419.3. The rushing game has done exceptionally well in Dallas this season. The team is ranked 4th best in the league with an average of 153.3 rush yards per game.

Tony Romo is completing just over 60% of his passes on the season and has a 94.7 QB rating. Romo has only thrown 9TD’s on the season which isn’t really that great, but on the plus side he has only thrown 4INT’s. The Cowboys have had three RB’s logging the load this season on the offence. Marion Barber leads the way rushing with 344 yards and 3TD’s. Tashard Choice and Felix Jones both have run the ball for over 200 yards on the season as well. With three RB’s with over 200 yards apiece in 6 games it’s kind of hard to believe that Dallas has a 4-2 record.

The defense for the most part has been playing well enough to get the job done minus one game. The game against the Giants the defence gave up 33 points and lost the game 33-31 which was a big loss. Apart from that game the defence has been playing great. They’re only allowing 19.8 points per game which is 14th best in the league. They are in the back of the pack when it comes to yards given up per game and passing yards, but they have managed to keep the opposition out of the endzone for the most part.

The Cowboys season is far from over and although they are in a very tough division anything can happen. The Eagles have shown signs of struggling lately and the Giants have lost their past two games. If Dallas can string together some wins over the next month they might be in a good position to win the division.
